QUICK TRIP NEAR CURITIBA? KNOW WHERE TO GO

NATURE DESTINATION WITH ADVENTURE RECOMMENDED FOR THOSE WHO LIVE IN CURITIBA AND WANT TO TAKE A FUN TOUR IN THE BATE-VOLTA STYLE, VILA VELHA PARK IS IN PONTA GROSSA AND IT IS JUST MORE THAN 90 KM FROM THE CENTER OF CURITIBA.
We prepared a brief instruction with the two route options on how to get to Parque Vila Velha, leaving Curitiba, towards the most visited natural park in Campos Gerais, located at km 515 of BR 376.
Shorter and faster option:
Follow BR 277/376, also known as Rodovia do Café – parallel to Parque Barigui -, during the entire route. Passing the interchange located in São Luiz do Purunã, just after the Federal Highway Police station, keep on BR 376 until km 515 to reach the park, located on your right.
Using as a starting point the ground zero of the capital of Paraná, Praça Tiradentes, this route takes an average of 1h14 and is 91.1 km long. The route has two tolls.
Second option:
Access the BR-116 / BR-476 in the Pinheirinho neighbourhood, after 11.1 km take the access entrance to Araucária / Ponta Grossa and then to Araucária / Lapa / Porto União. In Araucária, take the PR-423 until Campo Largo and then the roundabout towards Ponta Grossa on BR-376. Go straight to Parque Vila Velha, located on your right.
Using Rua da Cidadania do Pinheirinho as a starting point, this route takes an average of 1h25 and is 101 km long. The route has two tolls.

Structure
Upon arriving at the park, the visitor finds ample parking to leave his car safely for only R $ 5.00 per day. The road, for the most part, has adequate signage and regular asphalt. So, just respect the speed limits and enjoy the trip!
